New York City Waterfalls Cruise
Experience one of NYC's most epic art installation events of all time, "The New York City Waterfalls" up close and personal in comfort and style aboard the classic 1920's style Yacht Manhattan. Aboard this special event guests will enjoy complimentary champagne and a chance to win a pair of tickets to Broadway's killer Twenties-era show, Chicago! This unprecedented piece of public art created by artist Olafur Eliasson consists of four monumental, man-made waterfalls. The Waterfalls are based in and built from the rivers of New York at four sites along the shores of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Governors Island. The tallest waterfall will be approximately the same height as the Statue of Liberty!

Relax in our beautifully enclosed solarium for this educational event as we cruise around New York City in style. The duration of this cruise is two hours and includes a tasting of five different wines once each month. Come learn the basics in a fun, informative tasting with our guests Wendy and Anna. Learn what makes each wine different and unique while we swirl, sniff, and taste our way down the Hudson. Relax while we discuss major styles, grape varieties, regions, trends and more on the Yacht Manhattan. Passed Hors d'oeuvres will be paired with the specific wines of the evening. After your tour of Manhattan's largest microbrewery, you will be led over to Schooner Imagine to embark on a 2-hour sail. Enjoy pairing three custom-made Chelsea Brewing Company brews with three specially chosen cheeses as you sail through New York Harbor.

The Classic Harbor Line hosts her own Schooner Match Race between the Schooners Adirondack and Imagine. Join us for a lunch of fruit, gourmet sandwiches, chips, and dessert as our highly experienced racing crew and captains compete in a three-hour Match Race starting from Chelsea Piers. The race route will vary based on the winds and tides during the event, but sites you'll view along the way are: The New York City skyline, 20-acre Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan, where artillery has been stationed over the centuries, Ellis Island, the immigrant doorway to America from 1892 to 1954, The Statue of Liberty, a French gift that arrived in New York Harbor in 1885 and has come to represent our nation's freedom and ideals.

This vessel offers you great views of the fireworks, Statue of Liberty, and NYC skyline, from its forward open air deck, or its glassed-in skylight observatory.
